I finally got around to starting this drama. I originally tried watching it the day it premiered but my computer kept freezing so I just put it off until Saturday. The main reason why I was going to watch was because of Yunho. Yup, caught red handed. And honestly, even now I’m watching it because of Yunho even if his character gets way too easily whipped by women and he should be a strong I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T. …man…
Honestly this reminds me wayyyy too much of Miss Ripley because Da Hae is more like an anti-protagonist cause I really don’t want her to succeed. I literally slumped myself to get through the first couple of episodes cause they felt really dumb and boring. I don’t know what the huge hype is about this drama though.
I AIN’T SAYIN SHE A GOLD DIGGA. I’m contemplating whether or not I should just quit this drama now because of all the drama. If you like drama and the same plot from other anti-pro dramas, go ahead. It’s not really heartbreaking to me because mayne, these men are the ones getting themselves into these situations. And what is this a May Queen reunion? Like no.
I have to say though (I’m horrible with character names and idek why) but the sister is the only character who actually has a brain for once.
So I’d like to conclude this with…. I AIN’T SAYIN SHE A GOLD DIGGA… but she is a gold digger…. triflin

That Winter, The Wind Blows (그 겨울, 바람이 분다)
I just started watching the drama today because I didn’t have anything to watch so I decided to start this drama mainly because of Kim Bum like straight up honest here. But I felt realllllly iffy about Song HyeKyo’s character being blind because I just thought it would be really awk and usually I avoided watching all dramas with disabled characters… DON’T GET ME WRONG HERE. I didn’t want to watch them because I was more scared and worried that the drama was going to make me bawl my eyes out and I didn’t want to put myself through such emotional trauma because I get really emotional easily. But I decided today why not.
Boy, I’ve been missing out on a lot or something. First minute I was already hooked. I stopped from being in love with Kim Bum and fell in love with Jo In Sung within seconds. Like, wut. How. when. where. why. I watched the three episodes that came out today back to back. The episodes felt so short because I was so immersed in the drama. The plot is ingenious but of course similar to pretty much every kdrama. But it’s more special to me because of the disability that SHK’s character has and it adds a lot of flare. I just find her so charismatic because she uses her other senses to figure things out.
Honestly, if you like gangsters and the sexiest man alive running around in suspenders and burgundy colored coats and suits, this drama is for you.
I just hope it’s not one of those dramas that start off really amazing and invigorating and just sort of mush through till the end.
